In Mandarin, bǎo bèi (宝贝) means:

treasure
treasured object
darling
baby

All Bao Bei Ceramics pieces are one of a kind, handmade by Stephanie-Bowie Liew in Naarm (Melbourne, VIC, Australia). Fun fact: 'bǎo' 宝 is also the first character in my Chinese name.

I make ceramics for the love of it (I have a full-time non-pottery job) but there's only so many pieces I can keep and gift; so I've set up this shop to find new homes for my pieces and fund the making of more pieces! To my customers, thank you very very much for enjoying and supporting Bao Bei Ceramics. x
