Use and care

Bao Bei Ceramics are made from high-fired stoneware. 

All glazed pieces are food-safe, dishwasher-friendly and microwaveable (unless otherwise stated in the listing, or unless the item is sold as a second due to cracks or glaze issues). 

Take care to avoid sudden temperature changes to the piece, which can lead to 'thermal shock' and cracking. 

The base of pieces are unable to be glazed. Take care when moving the pieces across certain kinds of surfaces.

Commissions

Commissions are currently closed as I work through some current orders. 

Shipping

Currently only shipping within Australia. Sorry to any international visitors to my shop!! Maybe in the future.  

Shipping costs for orders vary from $10 to $20, depending on size/amount of items. 

Please allow 3-4 business days for handling and shipping on items that are ready to ship. 

You will receive notification and tracking information once your order has shipped.

Packaging

Your order is packaged using materials I have kept from my own mail! Sorry if it looks really funny. I'm also looking into more sustainable kinds of tape (let me know if you have any recommendations). 

You are encouraged to reuse or recycle the packaging your order arrives in.

Pick-up

If you live in Melbourne and would prefer to pick up your order in person, use the discount code 'PICKUP' at checkout. You will be contacted to arrange a meeting time and place (Melbourne CBD during business hours is most convenient).

**NOTICE DURING COVID-19 PERIOD**
Until further notice, I can only offer safe, contactless pick-up from Balaclava (3183).

Returns / exchanges / refunds 

All pieces are non-refundable or exchangeable, so please purchase mindfully. If your item has been damaged in transit, I will provide a refund.
